Drop-offs and pick-ups take place at our locations listed above. Camper van deliveries are available within a 50-mile radius of Costa Mesa at a rate of $4.00 per mile round trip ($100 minimum). In rare instances, vehicle delivery requests may be denied due to overlapping reservations.

Yes, we offer special discounts and incentives for customers planning to rent our campervans for 7 days or longer. However, every customer's needs and circumstances are unique, and we prefer to tailor our long-term rental discounts to each individual guest.

Our published rates reflect a three (3) night minimum trip.

We include 150 free miles per day (cumulative over the course of your trip). Any additional miles driven will be charged at $0.75 / mile.

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to accommodate our valued guests to the best of our ability. Please review our cancellation policy below:

Free Cancellations: Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up until 31 days prior to the scheduled trip.

75% Refund: For cancellations made between 30 and 7 days prior to the trip, a 75% refund of the total booking amount will be issued.

50% Refund: Cancellations made within 7 days leading up to the trip will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total booking amount.

Yes, all of our vehicles are equipped with hot exterior showers.

For ease of operation and sanitation purposes, our camper vans were intentionally designed without built-in toilets. We do, however, offer portable Dometic toilets if needed (see add-ons section).

Renters must be over the age of 25, have a valid drivers license, and have a clean driving record in their state of residence.

Unless stated otherwise by altCamp in writing, the following activities are not permitted: smoking (of any kind) inside the vehicle, pets, festivals (including Burning Man), off-roading, towing, traveling outside the United States.

Please notify us prior to booking if you anticipate traveling to an area with below freezing temperatures as there are special procedures that must be followed.

Yes! Our vans are equipped with state-of-the-art, diesel-powered heating systems to keep you warm and cozy.

We want to be in the luxury camper van rental business for a long time, and as you can imagine, off-roading decreases the longevity of our vehicles. Please contact us directly if you have any questions regarding this policy and what constitutes off-roading.

Likely, no. Due to the high replacement cost of our vehicles and the nature of them being classified as “RVs,” your personal auto insurance policy likely will not cover them. Thus, purchasing an enhanced RV renter’s insurance bundle through our booking system is mandatory.
