Often times these are built by professional van builders as opposed to DIY builders. Keep in mind that prices can increase during summer and popular event weekends.

Some do and some don’t. Off-grid travel vans like the Winnebago Revel or Storyteller Overland usually include a toilet, while more minimalist conversions may not. Always check the rental listing to confirm whether your van has a bathroom onboard. Keep in mind that most of the time, you will be at a campground that has restrooms so having one in your vehicle may not be necessary. Also, vehicles with toilets on board will need to be dumped in designated black water dump stations, potentially adding another layer of complexity to the trip.
